Meatballs and pasta are a match made in heaven, this recipe is even faster than normal meatballs as you use sausages instead of mince. Another great midweek favourite and another new recipe!
Ingredients
6 Italian sausages
1 bunch baby broccolli
350g pasta (or there abouts!)
Stock
Single Cream
Salt and pepper
Take the sausages out of the skins and make into meatballs, set aside.
Put pasta into boil and pop a stock cube in the water you are cooking it in.
Heat up a frying pan and put the meatballs in, crush a clove of garlic into the pan and fry until meatballs are browned and cooked.
Add broccolli to the pasta pan and cook for about 2 minutes.
Drain most of the water from the pasta, saving about a cup full for the frying pan. pour the stock/water into the frying pan and add a good pour of cream, warm through.
Put the pasta and broccolli on a plate and serve the meatballs and sauce on the top.
