Next time I make them I would use cut oats, as I found these didn't really stick together that well, but they were still pretty tasty and better than half a bag of M & M's... not that I would eat half a bag of M & M's but, you know, someone might...
Ingredients
200 g rolled oats
50 g flaked or desiccated coconut
60 g melted butter
60 g honey or maple syrup
1 egg (beaten)
100 g chocolate (chopped)
Put all the ingredients except the chocolate on a bowl and combine them well, set aside for 5 minutes and preheat your oven to 150 degrees.
Chop up your chocolate and add it to the mix.
Scoop up a good blob of the mix and squash it together in your hands to make a ball then place on a baking try with some baking paper lining it. Cook for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
