Being Pregnant
It took us longer than we thought, but when it finally happened I loved it. Feeling the bub in my big round tummy was incredible. If we are lucky the Bean will have a little brother or sister to keep him company and I can experience all the highs and lows that go with it again.
TBM booked us in for a weekend away in the Hunter Valley at Easter and it was bliss. My tummy hadn't completely taken over everything and we wandered about, enjoying the warm weather up there. No booze was had by either of us, but it was a welcomed break in a lovely wee cottage.
The Bean
Good lord I can't believe this wee man is 6 month's old already, it seems like just yesterday he was being born! Everyone says the time flys by and it really does. It has been the most amazing 6 months ever, incredibly hard at time, but so worth it. Introducing him to my parents when he was only 3 weeks old was priceless, can't wait to see them again in January.
He has gone from a tiny wee thing to rolling all over the floor, atempting to crawl and sitting up on his own. Can't wait to see what the next 6 months brings!
I have dipped in and out of the Fat Mum Slim photo a day challenge this year and I really enjoyed it. One of my photos was chosen for the Fab Four of the day, the prompt was 'frame'. I was so excited I nearly fell out of my seat! Next year I am determined to do a photo every day, it's not easy some days, but it will be worth it to see what my creative mind can get up to. Must remember to print this photo and frame it!
I have really enjoyed trying different recipes and sharing them on here with you guys. Next year I'm going to try a new recipe each week, it's not going to be easy some times, but I think an expansion of my cooking is required!
