TBM had to get up early to speak to his folks in the UK so he got the Bean up for his breakfast and let me stay in bed. I got up not that long after him, but it was fantastic to be able to take my time and not have to get up to see to the wee man. This was actually my first 'sleep in' since the Bean was born. Can you believe that? I can't either, but it won't be my last I can tell you. I think Daddy's should step up and let us Mama's time to relax every now and then we work hard looking after the bubs and need a rest too.
Hitting the gym
This week I finally took the plunge and got back to the gym, I left the Bean in the creche and actually did a class! I had totally forgotten how good exercise can make you feel, you get the buzz of the exercise and you feel great for the rest of the day. You might be a bit stiff the day after, but I can live with that and it will get better in a few weeks time once I'm used to it again. I managed to go 3 times this week and I'm booked in for two classes next week and might squeeze in another session at the weekend. Check out the fancy pants machine for cross training!
Seeing as I was up and out for the gym pretty early I decided to head to our local farmers market first and get some food for lunch. There is a stall that does the best sourdough bread, so I stocked up and bought 2 so we could eat some today and then freeze the rest. Loving this spinach and feta loaf, tasted as good as it looks!
I have been a bit slack this month with my photos, but I had a nice surprise, I won one of the days challenges! The prompt for the day was 'I'm Loving' , and here is the winning photo of some street art. Pretty good going when you consider there are over 14 000 members on the group.
