I'm a sucker for 50's and 60's design (OK and I'll admit a bit of cheesy 70's too!) so imagine my excitement when I came across the Swedish designer Ingela Arrhenius. Her work is fabulous, all the good things about design in that time but up to date and modern too. I'm considering one of her posters for The Bean's room, which is badly in need of some artwork in it, I especially like this ark poster, as we both love animals, and think this 'be nice to the world poster' would send a good message to the Bean.
Not actual hot choc, you know I'm not allowed that just now (but, MAN, I would love some)! It was time to get the fro in order before the Bean arrives, I fancied a change so went dark chocolate brown and got rid of my highlights so my hair looks nice and rich for the winter. Best it's looked in months!
You know how much I love the movies and I am such a comic geek that we decided to splash out and do one last visit to Gold Class to watch the new Iron Man movie. What's not to love? Your own Lazy boy to lounge in, food and drink brought to you and Robert Downey Jr.... Mmmmmm.
Loving the weather that Sydney has been putting on recently, cool enough that I'm not sweating like a pig and I can enjoy the rest of my maternity clothes, but not so cold that I'm freezing. Sunny skies and changing leaves everywhere, it's my favourite time of year,
Myself and TBM have been out visiting friends this weekend, it's as if we have just realised that time is of the essence and pretty soon there will be a new person in our exclusive gang! This weekend we visited our friends Scott and Cath who had little Hannah in February, it was great to get some bubba snuggles in and for TBM to speak to his friend about becoming a new Dad. We also caught up with another good friend, Lyndall, who lives near Scott and Cath, two birds one stone, or would that be journey?
Today I met up with my old work mates, Ange and Rachael. It was great to natter to these girls, as both having bubs of their own they were full of great tips for the hospital and coming home with the Bean. Unfortunately our catch up was cut short by me feeling a bit dizzy and needing to go home. Never mind, next time the Bean will be there to enjoy the gossip!
